Taken in Harlem's 145th Street subway station, the video shows the man prepare to take the challenging leap, as he plants his feet on the ground and throws himself up.
For a split second it looks like the daredevil might just make it, but unfortunately, the man was only a few, but very painful short feet from his goal. He falls off the edge, as his stomach audibly slams on the edge.
What's even more surprising is how the man just picks up and hops over the edge as if nothing happened.
