Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said Monday that reaching a good deal with P5+1 mediators was more important than signing an agreement by the June 30 deadline, Iran's ISNA news agency reported.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Zarif arrived in Luxemburg earlier on Monday to discuss with EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini and his European counterparts from the P5+1 group the progress in writing the text of the comprehensive nuclear agreement.

“We have always tried to finish the job (resolving Iran’s nuclear issue) at the earliest possible opportunity. Of course, reaching a good and appropriate agreement is more important than [signing it] a few days sooner or later,” ISNA cited Zarif as saying at a news conference in the city of Luxembourg.
