New OSCE Envoy to Join Contact Group Talks on Ukraine in Minsk Tuesday

The new envoy from the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe participating in the trilateral reconciliation talks on the Ukrainian crisis will arrive in Minsk on June 23, the spokeswoman for Ukraine’s ex-President Leonid Kuchma said Monday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Swiss diplomat Heidi Tagliavini, who earlier represented the OSCE at the talks, announced resignation in early June.

“A trilateral Contact Group meeting will be held on May 23 in Minsk and the new representative from the OSCE, Austrian diplomat Martin Sajdik, will take part,” Darya Olifer said.
