Taxi Apps Drive Fares Lower Amidst Controversy
According to India's Financial Express newspaper, the court ruling came after two of Uber’s taxi drivers were accused of sexually harassing and assaulting female customers in 2014 and 2015.

The Californian transport company, which matches drivers and passengers through a phone application, pleaded for the court to overturn its ban on its taxi services in the nation’s capital, the paper said.

The outlet said the court had previously rejected applications for taxi licenses from two similar operators, Ola and TaxiForSure.
