The leader of Ukraine’s nationalist Radical Party, Oleh Lyashko, has submitted a bill aiming to deprive "supporters of the Russian world" of Ukrainian citizenship.

KIEV (Sputnik) — Kiev politician Lyashko is known for his anti-Russia stance. In mid-May, he urged that Opposition Bloc lawmaker Sergei Dunayev be stripped of his parliamentary immunity on charges of treason, because Dunayev called pro-independence militias from eastern Ukraine's region of Donbass "heroes."

"Supporters of the 'Russian world' have no right to be called Ukrainians. I registered a legislation, by which I offer to deprive separatists of the [Ukrainian] citizenship," Lyashko said in the post on the politician’s Facebook account Thursday.

Earlier in the day, Lyashko told the Era TV channel that those who were fighting against Kiev should be deprived of Ukrainian citizenship, stripped of political rights and banned from taking part in the country’s elections.
