At Least Four Saudi Soldiers Killed in Houthi’s Assault on Border Regions

Yemeni Houthi rebels and forces loyal to the Arab country’s former President Ali Abdullah Saleh attacked Jizan and Najran regions in the Saudi Arabia’s southwest, killing four Saudi servicemen, Al-Manar TV channel reported Saturday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Earlier in the day, Saudi Arabia said it had shot down a Scud tactical ballistic missile fired into the kingdom by the Houthi rebels from Yemen.

"The attack was planned and carried out by the Yemeni Republican Guard, loyal to former President Ali Abdullah Saleh, and Houthis," Al-Manar reported, citing a Saudi-led coalition’s statement.
