BERLIN (Sputnik) – The German Interior Ministry cannot confirm the information that Russian hackers had been behind the cyberattack on the country’s lower house of parliament Bundestag.

According to the representative, Bundestag is responsible for conducting an investigation into the incident.

Back in May, a Bundestag spokesperson said data was stolen during the cyberattack, as several data leaks had been detected. The hackers are suspected to have used the Trojan viruses to carry out the attack.
