BERLIN (Sputnik) – German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier will arrive in Ukraine on Friday to meet with Kiev officials, German Foreign Ministry spokesman Martin Schaefer said Wednesday.
“On Friday, May 29, [Steinmeier] plans to meet with the Ukrainian leadership, and on Saturday head to the east of the country,” Shaefer said.
Steimeir will visit Dnepropetrovsk, which is under the control of Kiev forces and meet with representatives from the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe.
“There he plans to meet with the representatives from the OSCE civilian mission,” Shaefer said.
