The Airbus A380 is a double-deck four-engine jet airliner that needs special airport facilities to operate. It can provide seating for up to 853 passengers and can fly 15,700 kilometers (9,755 miles) non-stop.

A380 has 40 percent more usable floor space than the world's second largest airliner, the Boeing 747-8.

There are currently over 150 Airbus A380 aircraft in service with the plane being used by 13 operators, including Air France, Lufthansa, and British Airways.
