Simultaneous explosions have hit the headquarters of Turkey's opposition pro-Kurdish Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) in two southern cities ahead of parliamentary elections, DNA reports.

At least six people were injured in explosion at pro-Kurdish office in the city of Adana. There were no immediate reports of injuries at the second explosion in the nearby city of Mersin.

The explosions occurred weeks ahead of a parliamentary election.

Selahattin Demirtaş, co-leader of the left-wing pro-Kurdish Peoples' Democratic Party, was scheduled to hold a rally in Mersin today, according to the Daily Sabah Turkey.
