VIENNA (Sputnik) — The P5+1 group and Iran have agreed to hold all the negotiations on the Iranian nuclear energy program ahead of the end-of-June deadline in Vienna, a high-ranking diplomatic source in the Austrian capital told RIA Novosti.
"All the negotiations prior to June 30 will be held in Vienna," the source said.
He added that no decision has been taken so far on the format of the next round of the talks.
The ongoing round of negotiations in Vienna sees political directors and deputy foreign ministers from the P5+1 group and Iran working out details of a comprehensive agreement, which is set to follow a framework deal, reached last month.
If signed, the agreement will usher in the withdrawal of energy-related sanctions against Iran, provided that international monitors verify that Tehran is not developing a nuclear weapon.
Iran has agreed to scale down its uranium enrichment as part of the breakthrough deal with the P5+1 countries, comprising China, France, Russia, the United Kingdom, the United States and Germany.
