The rapid reaction force of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) has started a snap combat readiness check, the Belarusian Defense Ministry said Tuesday.

MINSK (Sputnik) – The ministry said Belarusian servicemen would travel to Tajikistan to train with their colleagues from other CSTO members — Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan.

“In line with the CSTO Collective Security Council’s decision, a snap check of military formations of the CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Force was launch to assess their readiness to perform designated tasks.”
