Spain's left-wing political party Podemos is looking for a second wind as an internal crisis over policy hits and polls show its popularity may have peaked.
The sudden resignation on Thursday of one of the party's founders, 52-year-old Juan Carlos Monedero, raised questions regarding the party’s strategy ahead of regional and local elections on May 24, and a general election later in the year.
Podemos is the second largest Spanish party by number of members after the People's Party and currently has over 350, 000 members.
