“We can confirm that the US Embassy privately-contracted helicopter, with both US military service members and a consular officer onboard, rescued three US citizens as well as 19 citizens from other countries from the Langtang region yesterday,” Harf told journalists on Thursday.

Harf noted that Washington is aware of several groups of US citizens who were rescued by the Nepali Army from various remote locations in Nepal.
