TEL AVIV (Sputnik) — Israel is currently checking reports on two projectiles reportedly fired from Syrian territory, the Israeli Army press service said Tuesday.
“On the north of the Golan Heights blasts and air-raid alarm can be heard. There are no reports on injuries,” the press service said.
Local media reported Tuesday that it was not immediately clear whether the missiles were fired from the Syrian side intentionally.
On Sunday, reports emerged that the Israeli Air Force launched airstrikes on strategic missile bases in Syria, killing up to four militants with alleged links to the Lebanese Shiite Hezbollah group.
Israel has declined to comment on the reports.
