Ukrainian journalists visiting Chernobyl to mark the 29th anniversary of the nuclear disaster there have found a clever fox that decided to make an improvised sandwich from the foods the journalists gave it.

At first eating the bread and meat thrown to it by the journalists piece by piece, the animal then began collecting a 'sandwich' comprised of several layers of bread and meat.

The journalists noted in the video that in the area around Chernobyl, wild animals have lost their instinctual fear of humans. Known as the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, the approximately 2,600 km2 area is home to herds of European bison, brown bears, lynxes, and Przewalski's horse, a species of wild horses from central Asia which were never domesticated.
