The aim of the airstrikes was the weapons depots located nearby, the source added.

Due to the strikes, several houses in the village were completely destroyed, according to the source.

Yemen is engulfed in violent conflict between Houthi militias and the forces loyal to President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, who fled the country in the wake of the hostilities.

On March 25, the Saudi Arabia-led coalition, comprising United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Jordan, Morocco, Sudan, Pakistan and Egypt, started conducting airstrikes against the Houthis at the request of Hadi.
