SANAA (Sputnik) — The first plane with a group of Russian citizens on board left Thursday the Yemeni capital, heading for Cairo, a source at the airport in Sanaa told Sputnik.
"The first plane has departed [to Cairo] from the International Airport in Sanaa with 162 people on board," the source said.
"Another plane has not yet departed. It will fly in Djibouti," the source added.
Russia is evacuating a total of 337 nationals from the crisis-hit Yemen.
