Nine Suspects Arrested in Tunisia Following Bardo Museum Attack
MOSCOW (Sputnik) Damage inflicted on Tunisian tourism by the terrorist attack at the Bardo Museum may exceed $700 million, radio Mosaique FM reported Thursday citing the country’s Minister of Economy and Finance Slim Chaker.

Currently, there is no discussion about countering the projected losses in one of the North African country's major sources of income, Chaker said. He added that traditional crafts sales will suffer along with tourism.

On Wednesday, gunmen wearing military uniforms opened fire in the National Bardo Museum, close to the parliament building in the Tunisian capital city, Tunis.

The attack killed three Tunisians and 20 foreign tourists, including those from Italy, France and Japan, the BBC said, citing government figures. Over 40 people sustained injuries.
