WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Kiev has not received any update from Moscow regarding possible restructuring of Ukraine’s debt to Russia, Ukraine’s Finance Minister Natalie Jaresko told Sputnik.

“I have no official news from Russia,” Jaresko said, when asked about the latest statement by Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov that Moscow has not changed its position on restructuring Ukraine’s $3 billion debt.

In February, Siluanov stated that Russia was not ready to restructure Ukraine’s debt.

Jaresko stressed that Kiev is committed to working with international creditors, including Russia, and finding common ground in the interest of all stakeholders.

“We need to get our list together, identify our creditors, and work carefully together with them. I am sure we’ll find a common position that is in the interest of all the stakeholders,” she said.

In December 2013, Russia decided to issue a $15-billion loan to Ukraine and bought Ukraine's first Eurobonds in the amount of $3 billion. The rest of the loan was cancelled following the regime change in Kiev in February 2014.

According to Russian President Vladimir Putin, Russia has not asked Ukraine for early Eurobond repayment in a bid to help the country restore its financial system.
