The participants, around 26,000 in all, moved along Strastnoi Boulevard and then held a rally on Ploshchad Revolyutsii square outside the Bolshoi Theater.

The Anti-Maidan event, held under the slogan "We won't forget, we won't forgive!" came on the first anniversary of Yanukovych's forced departure from his country's capital, in the wake of months of protests by pro-European demonstrators and nationalists on Kiev's Independence Square.
