Russia, Armenia to Conduct Joint Investigation Into Gyumri Massacre
MOSCOW, January 20 (Sputnik) – Six-month-old Serezha Avetisyan, the last victim of the Gyumri massacre, will be buried on Wednesday.

The baby was the sole member to survive the brutal murder of his family in Armenia's Gyumri, committed by a Russian deserter. Russian soldier Valery Permyakov is the main suspect in the case. His trial will be held in Armenia.

Starting in 2016, Russian conscript soldiers will no longer be stationed at Russia’s 102nd Military Base located in Gyumri, according to RBC informational agency. The base will then be enlisting only contract soldier to serve there.
