Eurostar Out of Action After Lorry Fire in Channel Tunnel
MOSCOW, January 18 (Sputnik) — The train services through the Channel Tunnel between Britain and France resumed on Sunday morning after the smoke caused by a lorry fire was cleared, the Eurotunnel company said.

"Service resuming from the UK at 02:45 UK Time and from France at 04:30 CET [3:30 GMT]," the company said on its Twitter webpage.

On Saturday, all high-speed Eurostar train services through the Channel Tunnel were halted due to smoke caused by a fire on a lorry train in the north tunnel.

Eurotunnel's spokesperson said the passengers could rebook their tickets or claim a refund after the suspension of the services through the Channel Tunnel.

Eurotunnel is a Paris-based company, which operates train services between Britain and France through the Channel Tunnel, including the Eurostar passenger trains.
