MOSCOW, January 16 (Sputnik) First appearing on the Russian online auction site Molotok on Friday, the opening bid for the issue was 1 ruble ($0.015). The auction will close January 18.

Various copies are for sale on the Russian online classified site Avito, ranging from 500 rubles ($8) to 35,000 rubles ($540).

There are also offers to purchase the electronic version of the issue as a PDF, starting from 100 rubles ($1.5). Trade for the PDF in the Russian online marketplace is expanding, despite being already available for download for Android, iOS and Windows Phone platforms.

Price for Latest Charlie Hebdo Issue in Online Auctions Reaches $15,000

The latest edition of Charlie Hebdo was released Wednesday. Last week's January 7 shooting massacre at the magazine's Paris office by Islamic fundamentalist gunmen left 12 people dead and injured 11 others.

This week's edition of the satirical weekly, published after the killings, is quickly selling out at newsstands in France and online auctions worldwide.

On Thursday, $15,000 was an asking price for one copy of the latest edition of the French weekly on the eBay.com shopping website.
