"The steps are specified, but… I will not and I have no right to disclose them until they are fulfilled and the corresponding documents are signed. Nevertheless, there is a certain progress in a number of issues," Pushilin told Russia 24 TV channel, answering the question whether any agreements were reached on the issue of the economic blockade of Donbas.
"It was just a first round [of talks], preliminary meeting. However, the exchange of some documents and statements was agreed on [during the negotiations]; our side has passed everything through OSCE, but did not get anything back, in the opposite direction," Pushilin stated.
Another round of Minsk talks took place on December 24. Prior to the meeting, Pushilin said that the talks in Belarusian capital would focus on the withdrawal of artillery from the line of contact, the exchange of prisoners, lifting the Donbas "economic blockade" and the introduction of a law on the special status of the region.
However, the only agreement that was reached regarded the prisoners swap, which took place on Friday.
The Contact Group on Ukrainian crisis reconciliation, comprising representatives of Russia, the Kiev government, the self-proclaimed Ukrainian republics of Donetsk and Luhansk (DPR, LPR) and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), previously met in Minsk on September 5 and 19.
The talks resulted in a ceasefire agreement between Kiev and independence supporters. The sides have, however, accused each other of violating the truce on a daily basis since the deal was reached.
