Serbia believes it can integrate the Eurasian Economic Union with the European Union through its trade deals.

MOSCOW, November 25 (Sputnik) — Serbia is looking forward to increase trade cooperation with the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), the Serbian Ambassador to Russian Slavenko Terzic said at a news conference at Rossiya Segodnya press center Tuesday.

Armenia Joins Eurasian Economic Union
Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan signed a treaty establishing the EEU in May and have already ratified the agreement, which will take effect January 1, 2015. The republics of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan have expressed interest in joining the organization. On October 10, EEU leaders signed an agreement on Armenia’s accession to the union.
