Ukrainian State Emergency Service stated that Ukraine and NATO are set to hold emergency management exercises in 2015.

KIEV, November 13 (Sputnik) — Ukraine and NATO are set to hold joint emergency management exercises in Ukraine next year, the country’s State Emergency Service said Thursday.

“Separately discussed was the issue of international NATO exercises on eliminating consequences of emergency situations. The Ukrainian side presented proposals for scenarios for the exercises, possible times, venues, participants and also financial estimates,” the service said on its official website.

According to the Ukrainian Emergency Service, NATO has expressed its readiness to provide Ukraine with financial help for the emergency training, which is to be held next year and will become the 15th NATO training with the participation of the alliance’s partners, and the third large-scale exercise in which Ukraine is taking part.

NATO and Kiev representatives held a meeting at the alliance’s headquarters on November 6 and 7 where the main topic under discussion was the situation in Donbas, as well as support and assistance provided to Ukraine by the international community, the Emergency Service said.
