After unloading over 100 tons of aid in Ukraine's war-torn Donetsk and Luhansk, the sixth Russian himanitarian convoy of 20 trucks turned back to the Rostov Region.

DONETSK, November 4 (RIA Novosti) —The sixth Russian humanitarian convoy is returning to the Rostov Region after delivering aid to the war-torn cities of Donetsk and Luhansk in eastern Ukraine, the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry said Tuesday.

"All the trucks have been unloaded in Donetsk and Luhansk. And they have already left for the Rostov Region," Oleg Voronov, deputy chief of the crisis management center with the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry, said.

Earlier on Tuesday it was reported that the Russian humanitarian convoy of 20 trucks, divided into two groups, had delivered more than 100 tons of aid to Donetsk and Luhansk.

"The Russian emergencies ministry has delivered medicines specifically to assist healthcare facilities [in the region] and fuel for Donetsk and Luhansk, including for the firefighting units, emergency ambulance services and housing and public utilities," Voronov said.

Russia has been sending aid convoys to the Donbas since August. They have delivered food, water, power generators, medication and warm clothes to help the residents of Donetsk and Luhansk regions replenish their stocks ahead of the coming winter.

The previous or fifth humanitarian convoy from Russia returned to the Rostov Region on Sunday.
