TEL AVIV, October 22 (RIA Novosti) - Nine people sustained injuries in a suspected terror attack in Jerusalem on Wednesday, a spokesperson for the local police told RIA Novosti.
“Nine people have been injured, three of them severely. All have been hospitalized. The main version is that this is a terrorist attack,” the spokesperson said.
A 3-month-old infant and a 60-year-old woman are reportedly among the injured.
The incident occurred near the Israeli police’s national headquarters in eastern Jerusalem. According to local media reports, the driver was shot by a police officer as he tried to flee the scene.
