MOSCOW, October 4 (RIA Novosti) - Seventy-five restaurants across the city are participating in the 10th Annual Moscow Gastronomic Festival, Russian internet magazine The Village reports.
Guests of the festival receive tasting sets at reduced prices, experiencing sample portions of the restaurants’ most famous offers, plus new creations specially prepared by gourmet chefs, including seasoned veterans and talented newcomers.
The price of the experience is set to be no higher than 1,500 rubles, about $37.50 US.
Entering its tenth year, the festival’s organizers note that its purpose is to “contribute to the promotion and development of restaurant culture in the capital.”
Restaurants and their chefs will compete in two contests –the Gran Prix for the best tasting set and the Gran Prix People’s Choice of best restaurant, which will be voted on via the organizers’ site and presented in November at the festival’s closing ceremony.
