MOSCOW, September 17 (RIA Novosti) - Russia will continue to keep up with the results of the United Nations and Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) monitoring mission in Ukraine, Russian Foreign Ministry human rights special representative Konstantin Dolgov wrote on his Twitter page Wednesday.

"[We] will continue to closely follow the results of the monitoring of the human rights and the rule of law situation, carried out by the United Nations and the OSCE in Ukraine," the official said in a tweet.

At a meeting of the Contact Group on reconciliation of the Ukrainian crisis held in Minsk on September 5, the Ukrainian government and the pro-independence forces of the country's southeast agreed on a ceasefire. Both sides and international observers claim the ceasefire has largely been respected. The United Nations and OSCE have observation missions in the region, publishing reports on the situation on a regular basis.
