Last Wednesday, September 3, the news about Andrei Stenin's tragic death in Ukraine came. Stenin was an experienced military photojournalist. He was brave enough to work in the world's most dangerous places such as Egypt, Syria, Gaza Strip, Libya etc. He had two main passions: photography and bikes.

Last Wednesday, September 3, the news about Andrei Stenin's tragic death in Ukraine came. In August he was known to have been missing in Ukraine, and until the very end his fate remained unclear. The photojournalist was killed in an attack by Ukrainian armed forces. On Septerber, 5 friends and colleagues came to Rossiya Segodnya HQ to pay him last respect.

Andrei Stenin was born on December 22, 1980 in Russia's Komi Republic, in the city of Pechora. He worked as a special correspondent for Rossiya Segodnya, and also сooperated with the Rossiyskaya Gazeta, Gazeta.Ru and ITAR-TASS, Kommersant, Reuters, the Associated Press, Agence France Press.

Stenin was an experienced military photojournalist. He was brave enough to work in the world's most dangerous places such as Egypt, Syria, Gaza Strip, Libya etc.
