GELENDZHIK, September 4 (RIA Novosti) – Our new modernized pleasure boat can be compared to a British Rolls Royce luxury car, Georgy Antsev, the Chief Designer at Russia’s Scientific Production Enterprise Radar MMS said.
“We have a boat with a hydrofoil similar to our rather old development, but with splendid hydrodynamics, we have slightly changed the wing, added some improvements to the contours. This is a Rolls Royce on the water with nine seats, open as a cabriolet,” Antsev said during a press conference at the international exhibition on hydroaviation in Gelendzhik.
According to the Radar MMS press service, the motor boat with hydrofoil Dolphin is used for pleasure as well as service and roving purposes.
The motor boat measures 9.58 meters (just over 30 feet), 2.46 meters (nearly 8 feet) in the beam and displaces up to 3.5 tons of water, it can also accelerate to a speed of 45 knots (51.8 miles per hour).
The anticipated price of the boat has not yet been announced.
