A teenage Japanese girl has been arrested in Japan’s town of Sasebo after the local police found a beheaded body on a bed in her house. The 16-year-old, whose name is not released due to her underage, confessed she did it because of her desire “to dissect someone”.
The local media reported that “the victim, a 15-year-old girl, was found decapitated, with her left wrist chopped off”.
The girls were classmates in the same junior high school.
The arrested teenager has confessed she strangled her victim before sawing off her head and left hand. The police said they found the supposed tools of the murder - a hammer and a saw.
The arrested teenager reportedly lived on her own after her mother died of cancer. Her father and stepmother live separately in the same town.
