MOSCOW, April 1 (R-Sport) - Two Russian Premier League matches, one involving reigning champions CSKA Moscow, were rescheduled Tuesday after snow left Krylya Sovetov Samara's pitch waterlogged.

Krylya were due to play Terek Grozny on Monday but the game was pushed back a day after referee Timur Arslanbekov ruled the muddy, wet surface at the Metallurg Stadium was unplayable. It was postponed again Tuesday.

Now Terek will begin the 1,150km journey home to Chechnya after the league said the game would now be played April 8 at the second-choice stadium of fellow top-flight side Rubin Kazan.

Arslanbekov "has taken the decision to cancel the match," the league said on Twitter.

The decision to move the game was swiftly followed by a ruling that Saturday's clash between Krylya and third-placed CSKA, which had also been scheduled to be played at the Metallurg Stadium, would now be played in the warmer southern city of Rostov-on-Don.

Krylya have long had problems with their pitch, which tends to drain poorly.

Krylya are 11th and Terek 14th in the 16-team Russian top flight. A win against Krylya could see Terek rise to 12th, escaping the relegation playoff zone, while Krylya could overtake 10th-placed FC Kuban if they take all three points.
