After the theoretical examination, practical skills are demonstrated in eight disciplines, including first aid, radiation, chemical, and biological defense, physical training, communication skills, technical training, military topography, and weapons and engineering training.

The training center in the village of Gorny is considered one of the best. A special one-kilometer long assault course includes three types of route - general military, mountain, and assault.

The roles of the Internal Forces include anti-terrorism work, protection of important state facilities and special cargo, territorial defense, and support of the border authorities of the Federal Security Service in frontier protection.

In the final stage of the competition, assault groups will approach search areas, where they will demonstrate their shooting skills, hold off an attack, and conduct reconnaissance and search operations. The winners will be announced on October 19.
