A Bengal Tiger and Her Cubs in Russia’s Yekaterinburg Zoo

Two male and two female Bengal tiger cubs were born on July 2 in the Yekaterinburg Zoo. Their parents are Radzhakhan, the tiger, and Khuanita, the tigress.

It didn’t take long for the cubs to grow bolder and more active. These days they like exploring all by themselves.

The four cubs have moved from mother’s milk to a meat diet. They all seem to have good appetites and zookeepers have even seen them trying to steal their mother’s dinner.

The two males and the larger female are very active and like to play together. The smaller female cub seems a bit of a loner, and doesn’t disturb the others much. Zookeepers say she’s a “daydreamer.”
