Putin to Meet with Serbian President

Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with his Serbian counterpart Tomislav Nikolic in the Russian Black Sea resort of Sochi on Friday, the Kremlin reported.

MOSCOW, May 24 (RIA Novosti) - Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with his Serbian counterpart Tomislav Nikolic in the Russian Black Sea resort of Sochi on Friday, the Kremlin reported.

Nikolic will pay a working visit to Russia on Putin’s invitation.

The Kremlin said the heads of state are set to sign a declaration on strategic partnership that will define the key directions for the development of bilateral ties.

Russia-Serbia trade in 2012 totaled $1.7 billion. The countries also cooperate in the energy sphere, tourism, metallurgy and other areas.
