In Transdnestr, Neighbor Hurls Grenade to Shut Loud Music

A resident in Moldova's breakaway Transdnestr republic was irritated over the loud music coming from a neighboring yard and decided to use a military grenade to silence it, local police said on Thursday.

TIRASPOL, May 2 (RIA Novosti) – A resident in Moldova's breakaway Transdnestr republic was irritated over the loud music coming from a neighboring yard and decided to use a military grenade to silence it, local police said on Thursday.

According to the law enforcements, the 53-year-old man, who was in the state of alcohol intoxication at that moment, first asked the female neighbor to turn off the music and then pelted the grenade over the fence.

The grenade exploded causing the 50-year-old woman numerous injuries over her arms and back, the police said adding that the conflict happened on Wednesday. The police are considering a probe into the incident.
