MINSK, April 14 (RIA Novosti) – Visitors were given a chance to taste pieces of the interior of the Chocolate Room in Minsk, Belarus, on the final day of the exposition on Sunday.

The room was unveiled at the ALL shopping mall in the Belarusian capital on March 8. All of the interior decorations and furniture in the 65-square-feet room are made of chocolate.

The interior includes some 50 items, such as furniture, a fireplace, paintings, flowers, candles and even a dog. Some 600 kilograms (1,300 lbs) of Belgian dark, milk and white chocolate were used to create the room, the organizers said.

It took two months of preparations and two weeks of work to create the interior. The visitors were not allowed to approach the exhibits within close distance to avoid the chocolate’s melting.

On Sunday, the visitors were able to taste the chocolate, which was broken into pieces by the organizers. People crowded round the exhibits while the organizers distributed the pieces, a RIA Novosti correspondent said.
