Plane Overshoots Moscow Airport Runway, Catches Fire

A Russian Tupolev Tu-204 medium-haul airliner overshot the runway while landing at Moscow’s Vnukovo airport and rolled into out onto a highway. Its wing caught fire, put it was quickly put out. The accident resulted in a brief closure of the airport. Moscow’s Kievskoye Highway abutting the airport was also closed off to traffic both ways.
