MOSCOW, November 24 (R-Sport) – Russia's Vladimir Morozov stormed to gold in the 100 meters freestyle on Saturday at the European short course swimming championships.
Morozov, 20, clocked 45.68 seconds in the final and staved off his compatriot Evgeny Lagunov, who finished 0.84 seconds back to claim the silver.
Yannick Agnel of France finished third in 46.80 at his home championships in in Chartres, France.
Earlier, Morozov won the silver in the 50 meters freestyle and 4x50 medley relay, and took bronze in the 50 meters backstroke.
