MOSCOW, November 18 (R-Sport) - Dynamo Moscow goalkeeper Anton Shunin has been put on a course of antibiotics and is still feeling the sting after being hit by a flare in Saturday's league clash with Zenit St. Petersburg, his club said Sunday.

Shunin was released from hospital late Saturday after being admitted with what Dynamo said were eye injuries after the incident, which led to the referee abandoning play.

"The condition of the goalkeeper is a bit better today," Dynamo spokesman Konstantin Alexeev told R-Sport. "Under the supervision of doctors he is undergoing a course of treatment and taking antibiotics."

The flare was thrown from the Zenit end as Dynamo were leading 1-0 in the 36th minute.

Even so, Zenit blame Dynamo for the incident as hosts who failed to guarantee the safety of the players, and are insisting on being credited with the win.

Zenit have expressed regret over the incident, while the club’s general director Maxim Mitrofanov threatened to pull the team out of the championship if punished too harshly over the incident.
