South Korea's fencers held off a spirited challenge from France to claim Olympic bronze in the women's team foil on Thursday.
Korea won 45-32 over the course of nine fights, in an encounter that initially seemed like it would end a lot quicker.
Korea opened up a 22-10 lead just before the midpoint as the French failed to register a single hit in three-straight fights.
French substitute Aliza Blaze and Corinne Maitrejean briefly rallied, pulling the French to within five points, before South Korea's Jung Gil Ok and Oh Ha Na finished the job, restoring the huge advantage and sealing gold.
Russia and Italy faced off later for gold.
