British Olympic tennis player Laura Robson is pleased after training with two former world No. 1 players in the shape of Maria Sharapova and Caroline Wozniacki, she said Tuesday.

Robson, 18, gently teased her Britain coach Iain Bates after Tuesday's practice.

"They are not bad hitting partners - a little bit better than my G.B. coach, no offence," Robson said.

"It's great to practice with people like that. Maria has won Wimbledon before, when she was 17, so she's an amazing player. Caroline is as well, so it's great to be able to hit with them and also play some points with them at the end."

Robson is a former junior No. 1 who is ranked 96th in the world singles rankings and will team up with 78th-ranked Heather Watson in the Olympic women's doubles competition.

Robson's biggest achievement at the senior level came in women's doubles in 2010, when she reached the quarterfinals of the Australian Open.
