Belarus will help Venezuela build a space complex to launch satellites, the Ambassador of Venezuela to Belarus Americo Diaz Nunez, said at a news conference in Minsk on Wednesday.
"Belarus will participate in the construction of a space complex in the state Aragua," Nunez said.
He added that "it is planned to use the space complex not for launching space rockets but for launching satellites for scientific and research aims."
Currently China produces satellites for Venezuela but it has been agreed that they will be assembled in Venezuela.
