Coach Dick Advocaat has said farewell to Russia after the national team's last home game under his tenure Friday.

The Dutch coach, who will join PSV Eindhoven after Euro 2012, has five years in total in Russia, coaching Zenit St. Petersburg between 2006 and 2009, and later taking the Russia post in 2010.

"I had three great years with Zenit and two good years with the national team, so I'm very pleased," he said after Russia's 1-1 friendly draw with Uruguay at the Lokomotiv Stadium.

Advocaat wanted to leave on a high note with a strong performance at Euro 2012, he added.

"So let's hopefully have a good tournament."

Speculation is rife as to Advocaat's replacement, with Zenit coach Luciano Spalletti, ex-CSKA Moscow coach Valery Gazzaev and Rubin boss Kurban Berdyev all tipped as possible candidates.
