Substitute and former Russia national team striker Roman Adamov sealed the win in the dying seconds, the ball ricocheting off his torso and into the net after a goalmouth scramble.

Rostov have been relegated from the top flight twice in the last 20 years, in 1994 and 2008, and in both cases won promotion back to the Premier League immediately.
