Sporting Lisbon midfielder Marat Izmailov will not play at Euro 2012 unless he joins up with the Russian national team by Monday, Dick Advocaat warned on Sunday.

Izmailov, 29, was a surprise inclusion in Advocaat's 26-man provisional squad announced last week.

"As regards Marat Izmailov, if he doesn't join up with the team tomorrow, he won't be in the final squad," Advocaat said.

Izmailov's Sporting take on Academica de Coimbra later Sunday in the final of the Portuguese Cup, which clashes with the first day of the Russian training camp ahead of Euro 2012.

Further commercial commitments mean Izmailov might not free up until Wednesday.

Izmailov was a regular for Russia in the early 2000s but won the last of his 31 caps in an October 2006 1-1 draw with Israel, a Euro 2008 qualifier.

In three pre-tournament friendlies, Russia play Uruguay on Friday in Moscow, Lithuania in Switzerland on May 29 and Italy on June 1.

At Euro 2012, which kicks off June 8, Russia faces co-host Poland, the Czech Republic and Greece. Their potential quarterfinal opponents include Portugal, the Netherlands, Germany and Denmark.
