Two Zaur Sadaev goals propelled Terek Grozny to a 3-1 win over Amkar Perm on Sunday and to virtual safety in the Russian Premier League.

Sadaev put Terek 1-0 up on after just seven minutes, pouncing on a spill by Amkar goalkeeper Roman Gerus and driving home.

It took Amkar just two minutes to level the score as Serbian midfielder Marko Blazic powered a long-range drive past Soslan Dzhanaev in the Terek goal.

Terek took the lead again through midfielder Maceij Rybus on 22 minutes, the Pole slamming a poorly cleared free kick into the corner from the edge of the area.

Sadaev had the last word five minutes from time, poking home after being inadvertantly put through thanks to a bad backpass from Amkar midfielder Vitaly Grishin.

The win takes Terek to 51 points, one behind Amkar in 10th and, five ahead of Krylya Sovetov in the first relegation playoff place. Krylya have two games left, Terek have one.
